Day 1
The Azmak river and the town
Start with a canoe or boat tour on the Azmak — the riverbed is crystal clear. In the afternoon, wander the streets famed for Akyaka's architecture; in the evening, sea bass by the river.

Day 2
Wind and sea
A morning kitesurf/windsurf lesson (schools cater to beginners). Rest on the plane-tree beach in the afternoon; watch the sunset from the Gökova viewpoint.

Day 3
Sedir Island or a forest hike
Take a boat to Sedir Island, famous for Cleopatra beach, or hike the forest trail overlooking the Gökova gulf. Buy pine honey in Gökova village on the way back.
