Datça Peninsula
Almond blossoms, ancient Knidos and clear sea.
Four to five days of slow discovery on the peninsula where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean: almond orchards, ancient harbour cities and some of Türkiye's clearest coves. Datça is the route for those who refuse to hurry.
Central Datça and Kumluk
Settle in and take a first swim at Kumluk beach. In the evening, stroll along the harbour and dine at the fishermen's restaurants.
Old Datça and almond orchards
Breakfast in the stone lanes of Old Datça and a visit to poet Can Yücel's house. In the afternoon, almond workshops and crafts in Reşadiye.
Ancient Knidos
At the peninsula's tip, explore the ancient harbour where two seas meet. On the way back, a late lunch and swim at Palamutbükü — the clearest water on the peninsula.
Hidden coves
A boat tour of Domuzbükü, Hayıtbükü and Ovabükü coves. Sunset at Hayıtbükü in the evening.
Market and return
If it's Saturday, pick up almonds, honey and olive oil at the Datça market. Pause at the Marmaris strait viewpoint on the drive home.
